27 Apr Advanced Base Camp
The challengers faced a long, tough day today with a nine hour walk from Intermediate Camp to Advanced Base Camp.
Advanced Base Camp is at approximately 6,450 metres with the air there at half the pressure we breathe at sea level.
Now it’s all about resting up and recovering as the preparations begin for the next rugby game and world record attempt. Wooden Spoon, Rugby Manager, Matt Mitchell said: “It’s been really tough but we are pulling together as a team and helping each other through. The views are breath taking”
