Our leadership and development programmes are tailored to meet your company needs and reflect your core values.
Businesses operate in increasingly complex environments. CEOs recognise that they need to attract and retain the best people to remain competitive. Our leadership and development programmes are tailored to your business to help individuals and teams shift from ‘performing’ to ‘high-performing’.
How our Leadership and Development programmes work
We recognise that talented staff are attracted to companies that believe in corporate social responsibility. And, talented people prefer to stay with companies who invest in them. Fusion’s unique blend of military and leadership expertise enables us to create practical leadership and development exercises that fuse teams and help individuals to improve their leadership skills, all while making a lasting difference to the community.
What can you expect of a Fusion Initiative?
We will work with you to identify a charity or community-based project that has a close affinity to your brand values. We will then plan and organise an exercise tailored to your team that will help them to use existing skills, identify weaknesses and put in place improvement plans. Because our team have all had experience of on the ground humanitarian operations in the military, they know how to get teams to work together to achieve a common goal.
Your team will:
- Set clear and measurable goals
- Plan the exercise to ensure goals are achieved
- Improve communication skills
- Improve leadership skills
- Develop support, trust and openness within the team
- Encourage positive participation
- Review progress regularly
- Benefit from post-exercise reviews and improvement plans
What does a Fusion project look like?
Fusion Initiatives can range from building recreation and rehabilitation areas, therapy gardens, right through to delivering aid to communities in need.
An example of a Fusion project
Shooting Star Chase is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. A company with a strong CSR ethos hired the Fusion team to plan an initiative that would provide a practical leadership and development team building exercise. In consultation with the charity and the company, the Fusion team worked with the company to develop the outside space at the charity to provide shelter and an outdoor play area for the children with wheelchair access. The feedback has been extremely positive.
In addition to corporate programmes, we work with academic institutions who want to incorporate a Fusion initiative into the academic syllabus. This serves as an invaluable development device for students of management and business theory.
