Matt graduated from Plymouth College of Art, with a BA, First class Honours Degree in photography. His work predominately focuses upon documentary-led studies, and he has produced multimedia films including: PTSD: A portrait, State of Mind and Mark: Motivation.
Working in both commercial and non-commercial arenas, he is currently a contributor to leading south-west newspaper The Western Morning News, and recently collaborated on documentary film projects with celebrated filmmaker Chris Terrill.
Prior to his filmmaking and photography career, Matt served with the Royal Marines, during which time he served tours in Iraq and Northern Ireland. He concluded his 12 year military career as Provost Corporal of 42 Commando, Logistics Regiment and HQ Brigade. He lives in Plymouth with his wife and two young children.
